Work arrangement
- The position follows a hybrid work schedule.
- In-office work is required three days per week.
- The role may require travel to client and vendor offices and plant sites.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and power plant engineering.
- Prepare calculations, evaluations, and technical reports for client recommendations and reviews.
- Conduct equipment sizing, optimization evaluations, and equipment selection.
- Design, modify, and analyze mechanical systems for power plants.
- Support project teams with other Mechanical Engineers.
- Travel for design reviews and plant-site activities when required.
Technical qualifications
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and power plant engineering.
- Mechanical engineering experience applicable to nuclear power plant projects.
