- Hybrid position with three days per week in the Downtown Chicago office and two days remotely.
Role Overview
Sargent & Lundy is expanding its Instrumentation and Controls Engineering group due to increased nuclear power project work.
Nuclear clients are digitizing existing power plants and building new nuclear power plants and small modular reactors.
The role provides an opportunity to apply and expand an academic engineering background.
Responsibilities
- Work on a multidisciplinary engineering team involved in nuclear power plant instrumentation and controls projects.
- Support engineering work related to digitizing nuclear power plants.
- Contribute to projects involving existing nuclear plants, new nuclear plants, and small modular reactors.
Requirements
- Academic background in engineering.
- Ability to contribute to nuclear power plant instrumentation and controls engineering projects.
