Role Overview
The position is a Mechanical Draftsman in the Design and Engineering department for material handling equipment manufacturing.
The role creates accurate GA, fabrication, assembly, and detailed manufacturing drawings for mechanical equipment.
Position Details
- The role requires 2–5 years of experience.
- The qualification is Diploma, ITI, or Mechanical Engineering equivalent.
- The employment type is full-time.
- The location is to be decided between Mahape and Paudh.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare GA, fabrication, assembly, and detailed manufacturing drawings for material handling equipment.
- Create drawings for belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, chain conveyors, hoppers, chutes, feeders, platforms, and structures.
- Create and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks or Inventor when required.
- Prepare bills of materials and material specifications from approved drawings.
- Develop fabrication drawings with dimensions, tolerances, welding symbols, material specifications, sectional views, and assembly details.
- Incorporate client comments and design revisions into drawings.
- Prepare drawings for client submission and approval.
