Mechanical Designer - Co-op/Intern

2nd, 3rd, or 4th year student in a Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree program.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.

Skills:

Demonstrated proficiency in producing part and assembly drawings compliant with ANSI drafting standards;

Proficiency in the use of a 3D solid modeling mechanical CAD tool such as SolidWorks or SolidEdge;

Ability to demonstrate an aptitude for detailed mechanical design;

Practical and theoretical knowledge of metal machining processes, design of machined parts, selection of engineering materials, structural mechanics;

Demonstrated ability to apply excellent design judgment and engineering skills;

Demonstrated ability to consistently apply attention to detail in pursuit of high quality.
