Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed HVAC BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, equipment, ductwork, piping, and associated mechanical systems.
- Perform BIM coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
- Review and resolve clashes using Navisworks and BIM coordination platforms.
- Prepare and update BIM models based on design changes, RFIs, and project requirements.
- Extract drawings, schedules, quantities, and other required information from Revit models.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and project teams for timely model delivery.
- Identify and resolve modeling and coordination issues during project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical or HVAC BIM.
- Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, specifically HVAC modeling.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, equipment, and mechanical services.
- Good working knowledge of Navisworks Manage and clash detection.
- Understanding of BIM coordination workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and HVAC drawings and design documents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience working on large-scale building projects is preferred.
