Modeling and documentation
- Develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM models using Revit.
- Prepare electrical layouts, coordinated shop drawings, sections, and installation drawings.
- Model and coordinate busbar or busway systems, cable trays, containment, and other electrical services.
Coordination and site support
- Coordinate electrical models with MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines.
- Identify and resolve clashes using Navisworks and BIM coordination workflows.
- Support site teams with BIM models, coordinated drawings, and technical installation information.
- Update models based on site conditions, RFIs, design changes, and as-built requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, BIM coordinators, subcontractors, and site teams.
Experience and technical requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Autodesk Revit MEP - Electrical.
- Proven experience in contracting or site-based projects.
- Practical experience in busbar or busway modeling and coordination.
- Good knowledge of electrical containment, cable trays, conduits, distribution boards, panels, and electrical services.
- Experience with Navisworks and clash detection or coordination.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and MEP layouts.
- Experience with site or installation teams is an advantage.
- UAE experience is preferred.
Standards and compliance
- Ensure models and drawings comply with project standards and BIM execution requirements.
Workplace context
- The role supports contracting and site-based projects and requires coordination with site and installation teams in Dubai.
