Role overview
The Services Finance Controller will establish and operate a structured financial control framework across the consulting and services portfolio.
The role reports to the Middle East and Africa Finance Director and partners with Delivery and Services leadership.
The role focuses on revenue recognition integrity, unbilled revenue exposure, project profitability, cost overrun risks, forecasting, and financial performance.
Revenue recognition and financial control
- Review monthly revenue recognition, work in progress, and unbilled revenue balances to identify delivery issues and revenue risks.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal revenue recognition policies, including percentage-of-completion accounting.
- Monitor backlog yield, total contract value metrics, and overall financial control effectiveness.
Project profitability and risk management
- Monitor project profitability, costs, and margins, proactively identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
- Analyze resource utilization and identify profit leakage or cost overrun risks.
- Provide timely visibility of financial risks and support intervention on underperforming projects.
