Role Overview

This is a 12-month temporary ME HR Services Specialist role supporting high-quality, efficient, and employee-centric HR Services across the UAE and KSA.

The role supports core HR processes end to end, provides day-to-day guidance to the HR Shared Services Center team, and contributes to process simplification, digitization, and automation.

HR Services Delivery

  • Own onboarding and offboarding across the UAE and KSA, including welcome calls, documentation, system setup, employee queries, and compliant exits.
  • Deliver employee lifecycle support covering employee queries, data management, transfers, letters, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with employees, managers, People functions, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to resolve HR matters accurately and promptly.

Permits and Statutory Processes

  • Monitor permit expiry dates and manage renewals for labor cards, exit and re-entry permits, and similar government-mandated documentation.
  • Coordinate with government relations agencies and outsourced service providers to keep documentation current and compliant.
  • Administer pension and social insurance enrollment, contributions, and reconciliation with accurate records and timely compliance.

Shared Services Oversight

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the HR Shared Services Center team.
  • Review the quality and turnaround of transactional HR support, including data entry, documentation, and ticket resolution.
  • Provide guidance and coaching and ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs and BCG standards.

Reporting and Improvement

  • Prepare reports, track operational metrics, and support audits and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, digitize, and automate HR Services processes.
  • Support the design, testing, and implementation of workflow improvements and digital solutions.
  • Identify process gaps across the UAE and KSA and propose practical solutions with the ME HR Services Manager.

Experience and Education

  • Three to four years of experience in HR Services, HR Shared Services, or a similar operational environment, ideally with UAE and KSA exposure.
  • Experience working with HR systems; Workday experience is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of permit, visa, pension, and social insurance processes and related government or regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Capabilities

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI, automation, workflow, and low-code tools.
  • Fluent English is required, while Arabic is a significant advantage.

Team Context

The role is part of the Middle East HR Services team supporting employees and stakeholders across the UAE, KSA, and Qatar.

The position reports to the ME HR Services Manager and partners with the HR Shared Services Center in New Delhi, regional HR colleagues, leadership, and external providers.
