Role Overview
Develop ECU products, sensor products, and subsystems to the required maturity within project time and cost targets.
Plan, drive, and coordinate product engineering activities covering requirements, design, simulation, feasibility, problem solving, and mechanical release.
Mechanical Planning and Design
- Define and coordinate technical requirements for mechanical subsystem and component design.
- Perform requirements engineering, mechanical architecture definition, functional design, concept decisions, and countermeasure definition.
- Drive structural simulations, analyses, component design, bills of materials, assembly, and manufacturing documentation.
- Ensure manufacturing feasibility and application of Aumovio and product standards.
Testing and Risk Management
- Request engineering tests and coordinate functional simulations and analyses, consolidating their results.
- Ensure traceability of mechanical requirements to verification and validation test cases.
- Monitor product maturity, identify technical risks, define mitigation plans, and drive implementation.
- Plan, maintain, and review mechanical design FMEA and support FMEA activities for other disciplines.
