Role Overview
Mechanical Engineer role focused on whole-device assembly for mobile and tablet products.
The role covers product development from initial concept through production and includes collaboration, workshops, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components for mobile and tablet devices using CAD software.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications that meet product requirements.
- Conduct prototype testing to validate functionality, durability, and product performance.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and product managers on mechanical and electronic system integration.
- Resolve engineering issues during manufacturing through problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the engineering team.
- Assist with assembly process development and documentation for manufacturing teams.
- Track developments in materials and manufacturing techniques and apply relevant knowledge.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns through complex engineering challenges.
- Support project planning and scheduling for timely delivery of engineering tasks.
