MDM Application Engineer (Stibo STEP)

Role Overview

Location and Employment

• The role is based at DMESS in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• The stated employment type is full-time.

MDM Platform

• Configure and maintain Stibo STEP workflows, business rules, validations, and data models.
• Translate business requirements into scalable MDM solutions.
• Develop enhancements that improve data quality, process efficiency, and user experience.
• Support onboarding of new master data domains and capabilities.
• Align platform configurations with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

Operations and Integration

• Investigate and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests.
• Monitor platform performance, stability, and reliability.
• Provide application support and technical guidance to business stakeholders.
• Manage operational activities through service management processes.
• Design, develop, and support integrations between Stibo STEP and enterprise platforms.
• Maintain consistent master data across systems and business domains.

Collaboration and Improvement

• Work with product owners, data architects, and stakeholders to prioritize improvements.
• Participate in Agile delivery processes and sprint activities.
• Collaborate with external implementation partners and technology vendors.
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and simplification.
• Promote Master Data Management best practices across the organization.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application engineering, enterprise applications, Master Data Management, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with Stibo Systems STEP or comparable MDM platforms.
• Experience configuring, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience with business-critical systems in complex organizations.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Experience supporting global stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Technical Expertise

• Stibo Systems STEP, Master Data Management, data governance, and data quality management are required areas of expertise.
• The role requires JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, XML, workflow configuration, automation, and enterprise systems integration.
• Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and data modelling fundamentals are listed technical requirements.
