The Role

About Damen Middle East Shared Services

Key Accountabilities

• Support daily accounting activities for Damen Middle East entities.
• Process supplier invoices, employee expense claims, and accounting transactions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Assist with sales quotation and purchase order creation.
• Prepare and process purchase and sales invoices.
• Support bank payment preparation and execution under approved procedures.
• Perform bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Support management reporting and prepare financial schedules.
• Assist with Group reporting, including OneStream data submissions.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation, records, and audit trails.
• Support VAT, Corporate Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Assist internal and external auditors with requested documentation and information.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience; UAE experience is advantageous.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Excel, and online banking platforms are used in the role.
