About this opportunity

  • Join our dynamic team at Ericsson as an Account Manager for Enterprise and Mission Critical Networks in Qatar, as part of our Customer Unit Gulf Team.
  • Reporting to the KAM of Mission Critical, you will play a crucial role in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, while establishing market leadership across key verticals of Public Safety, Railways, Utilities, and Defense.

What you will do

  • Position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader, grow our business, and build strong customer relationships.
  • Generate profitable sales and develop long term business in the area of Enterprise and Mission Critical Networks.
  • Together with the EMEA MCN Business Development expert team, identify and secure short , mid , and long term business opportunities for profitable growth.
  • Create and improve customer relationships.
  • Apply Go to Market models and competitive commercial models and strategies.
  • Lead with integrity to delight Enterprise and Mission Critical Networks customers and offer best in class solutions.
  • Drive negotiation in both private and public procurement scenarios.
  • Identify and leverage market opportunities to establish and strengthen our leadership position within the targeted verticals.
  • Drive orders booked, net sales, profitability, and cash flow, including effective management of working capital.
  • Develop a deep understanding of existing and potential customers' businesses, operations, and objectives to tailor solutions that meet their needs.
  • Sales Coordination: Lead and orchestrate sales engagements across the Gulf geography, ensuring a unified and coordinated approach with the EMEA MCN Business Development expert team.
  • Foster strong collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and customer satisfaction.

The skills you bring

  • BSc in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience selling within vertical sectors such as Public Safety, Railways, Utilities, and Defense.
  • Proven experience in account management within the ICT industry, with a focus on Mission Critical Networks.
  • Strong understanding of Public Safety, Railways, Utilities, Oil and Gas, Ports, Mining, and Defense sectors and their unique communication needs.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships.
  • Expertise in consultative selling and commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales performance and achieving profitability targets.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse geographies and cultural contexts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is preferred.
