About the Role
We are looking for a licensed MC Truck Driver to join our Murrin Murrin Operations. This permanent position offers 2 weeks on 1 week off FIFO arrangement from Perth. As an integral part of our road transport Haulage operations, you will be responsible for delivering efficient, reliable, and safe road operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute a variety of routine and non-routine tasks as directed by the Haulage Leader.
- Operate medium/heavy rigid/multi-combination vehicles.
- Adhere to safety and heavy vehicle operating guidelines, including loading requirements and vehicle-specific permits.
- Conduct plant and equipment inspections/pre-starts as per Aurizon policy.
- Coupling/uncoupling of trailer equipment, including connecting hoses, cables, and other connections between prime movers and trailing gear.
- Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance with Aurizon policies and procedures.
- Perform cleaning and lower-level maintenance on plant and equipment as directed.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and collect vehicle data to support serviceability checks.
- Utilise all available competencies and licenses and be willing to obtain any additional required licenses or competencies.
