The Material Management Department supports cabin, IFE, airframe, engines, inventory control, operations, rotable components, and outstation requirements.
The department manages reorder levels, forecasting, inventory, procurement coordination, AOG support, pooling, and borrowing.

Job Purpose
Support aircraft-spares planning, initial provisioning, replenishment, and inventory reviews for operational and maintenance demands.
The Material Management Department supports cabin, IFE, airframe, engines, inventory control, operations, rotable components, and outstation requirements.
The department manages reorder levels, forecasting, inventory, procurement coordination, AOG support, pooling, and borrowing.
Materials Planning
- Prepare float, initial provisioning, and replenishment using manufacturer recommendations and surplus-review data.
- Calculate float and Economic Order Quantity, compile accurate data, and report discrepancies.
- Review slow-moving and non-moving items and identify surplus stock for inventory optimization.
- Monitor nil-stock items, maintenance-programme shortages, unfulfilled demands, planning triggers, and due-in issues.
- Define part numbers and ERP relationships using technical manuals and other approved documentation.
Rotable and Outstation Support
- Review heavy-maintenance and line-support work-package demands before aircraft induction and address material shortages.
