Key Responsibilities:
Manage the functional area responsible for Receiving/Shipping, Asset Management, Logistics, and Inventory Control
Promote a culture of safety by ensuring adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and Quantinuum’s corporate policies
Train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team by standardizing processes, documenting procedures, and sharing best practices
Collaborate with Shipment Carriers, Procurement, Finance, and Technical Teams to resolve shipment issues
Identify and eliminate root causes of defects to drive efficiency in operations
Track and publish performance metrics to optimize process flows, improve productivity and reduce costs
Execute performance management activities, including coaching, feedback, and accountability measures
Assign personnel and resources strategically to meet daily requirements, team goals, and business objectives
Monitor and manage costs and workforce plans relative to team performance and organizational targets
Analyze inventory management procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree minimum
5+ years of experience with shipping and receiving, inventory management, and ERP Systems (preferably SAP).
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations in new development high-tech manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductors, or related industries
Must be able to lift 45lbs
Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
WE VALUE:
Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
Experience with logistics, import/export processes, and warehouse operations.
Experience preparing parts for shipment; able to use palletizing tools (pallet jack, pallet wraps, banding)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Maintaining a clean and safe warehousing environment
Self-starter and team player who can also work independently
High bias for action with creative problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills
Track record of meeting or exceeding department performance goals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Smartsheet
