Role Overview
Support the sourcing and inventory team in meeting production material needs at Pride Bodies Ltd., a Wabtec truck-body manufacturing company.
Report to the Sourcing and Inventory Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
- Count, verify, receive, and put away vendor materials and in-house manufactured components.
- Pick and stage parts for production requirements.
- Receive supplier goods and ship returns or outgoing materials.
- Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and replenishment requests.
- Perform daily forklift and yard inspections.
- Collect supplier parts and move vehicles or trucks as required.
Qualifications
- At least two years of shipping and receiving experience using an ERP system; Global Shop Solutions experience is an asset.
- At least two years of inventory control experience, including cycle counting.
- Willingness to be trained or certified to operate a forklift.
- Proof of a clean driver’s abstract is required; a D licence is an asset.
- Demonstrate written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties while wearing PPE.
