Role Overview
The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and handling of materials, equipment, and supplies within the sports club.
This role includes receiving, organizing, and delivering items to ensure smooth operations for matches, training sessions, and events.
The Material Handler also ensures that inventory is handled safely and stored appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Handling and Movement: Load, unload, and move materials, equipment, and supplies within the warehouse and to designated areas.
- Material Handling and Movement: Transport items between storage facilities, training grounds, and event locations as required.
- Material Handling and Movement: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to handle heavy loads when necessary.
- Receiving and Shipping: Assist in receiving deliveries by inspecting items for damage and verifying quantities against invoices.
- Receiving and Shipping: Prepare materials for shipping, ensuring they are properly packed and labeled.
- Receiving and Shipping: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Inventory Support: Organize and store materials in designated areas for easy access and efficient retrieval.
- Inventory Support: Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory audits.

- Equipment and Supplies Distribution: Ensure timely delivery of sports equipment, uniforms, and supplies to relevant departments.

- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
