About the Role

Responsibilities
- Liaise with Project Director or Project Manager to determine material requirements for the site
- Prepare indents for necessary materials, ensuring timely and accurate requisitions
- Coordinate with procurement department to track purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Receive materials, cross check with purchase order, verify quantity and quality
- Collaborate with QA/QC department for material inspections
- Properly stack and store materials in designated storage area
- Reject materials not meeting specifications and coordinate returns
- Prepare accurate receipt notes and submit to accounts department
- Conduct monthly physical stock verification and prepare reports
- Update and maintain inventory records in inventory management system
- Monitor stock levels and prepare reordering requests to avoid shortages
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper in a construction company or similar role
- Knowledge of inventory management, material handling, and storage practices
- Familiarity with quality control processes and construction material specifications
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Education background of Diploma
- Minimum 5 years of experience
