- Accomplish provided tasks to standard
- Count, sort incoming material to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices
- Examine stock to verify quantity or conformance to specifications
- Store material in bins, on floor, on shelves, or in containers according to identifying information
- Fill orders or issue supplies from stock
- Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock
- Compile reports on use of stock, adjustments of inventory counts, stock records, damage, shelf life, location changes, and denial of shipments
- Prepare daily reports of Inventory, Receipts, Issues, and others as required by Performance Work Statement
- Mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles using labeling equipment
- Make adjustments to inventory/location of stored stock
- Move or transport material or supplies to other departments using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck
- Responsible for Physical Security of Sensitive and Pilferable Items and ensure storage per regulatory policy
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience in related field
- Ability to obtain on post license and/or Qatar/Host Nation driver’s license
- Ability to obtain Smart Card
- High degree of English comprehension (speaking, understanding, reading, writing, typing)
- Detail oriented and organized
- Customer service training
- Material Handling Equipment operation (Fork Lift, Pallet Jack, Hand Truck)
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Leadership skills
- Ability to follow moderately complex instructions
- Good math skills
- Accurately record data

Overview
- Reports to the Lead or Senior MCS. Performs administrative tasks in receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing Government Material/Property and compiles automated stock records in Maximo and other computer systems.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment to move product as required.
Responsibilities
- Accomplish provided tasks to standard.
- Count, sort incoming material to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
- Examine stock to verify quantity or conformance to specifications. Store material in bins, on the floor, on shelves, or in containers according to identifying information.
- Fill orders or issue supplies from stock. Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.
- Compile reports on use of stock, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage, or shelf life to stock, location changes, and denial of shipments.
- Prepares daily reports of Inventory, Receipts, Issues, and others as required by the Performance Work Statement.
- Mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, using labeling equipment.
- Make adjustments to inventory/location of stored stock. May determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
- Move or transports material or supplies to other departments, using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck.
- Responsible for Physical Security of Sensitive and Pilferable Items and ensure they are stored in accordance with all Regulatory policy.
- Maintain inventory and other stock records, using computer terminal. Designated according to material, equipment, or product stored, i.e. Retail or wholesale items.
- Receive, store, and sort unserviceable equipment and supplies for disposal.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience in related field.
- Ability to obtain on post license and/or Qatar/Host Nation driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain Smart Card.
- Incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of English comprehension, including speaking, understanding, reading, writing and typing.
- Must be detailed oriented and organized.
- This is an entry level position in Logistics and warehousing.
- Customer service training.
- Material Handling Equipment (Fork Lift Operation, Pallet Jack, Hand Truck).
- Microsoft Office.
- Leadership skills.
- Able to follow moderately complex instructions.
- Good math skills.
Working Environment
- Duties may occasionally involve working outside with potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
