Massage Therapist/ facial therapist

Position Summary

Assessment and Treatment

• Conduct consultations, health screenings, posture and movement assessments, and contraindication checks.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and maintain accurate client records.
• Provide sports, deep tissue, recovery, pre-event, post-event, trigger point, myofascial release, stretch, and other appropriate treatments.
• Provide cupping, IASTM, lymphatic drainage, or relaxation massage when certified, qualified, or appropriate.

Athlete and Injury Support

• Assist athletes before competitions and provide post-event recovery sessions.
• Support injury prevention programs and improve client flexibility and mobility.
• Identify muscular imbalances and recommend recovery protocols and corrective exercises within scope.
• Refer clients to physiotherapists or physicians when required.

Client Education and Records

• Educate clients on recovery, hydration, warm-ups, cool-downs, foam rolling, stretching, injury prevention, home care, and exercise recovery.
• Maintain assessment forms, treatment notes, progress reports, consent forms, incident reports, and referral notes.

Facility and Client Service

• Prepare treatment rooms, maintain sanitation, sterilize equipment after each client, and keep supplies stocked.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience, maintain confidentiality, encourage repeat visits, and recommend appropriate wellness packages.
• Review appointments, follow up with clients, assist the multidisciplinary team, and attend meetings and training.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Massage Therapy, Sports Massage, Physical Therapy Assistant, or a related field.
• One or more relevant certifications or licenses may include Sports Massage Certification, Massage Therapy License, or CPR and First Aid.
• At least two years of experience in sports massage or rehabilitation.
• Athlete experience and experience in sports clubs, clinics, gyms, wellness centers, or rehabilitation facilities are preferred.

Preferred Certifications

• Dry Needling is optional.
• Cupping, IASTM, and Kinesiology Taping certifications are preferred.

Professional Standards

• Maintain confidentiality, follow health and safety regulations, practice within scope, and comply with company SOPs and ethical standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming, wear company uniform and identification, and attend mandatory training.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods, maintain physical strength and stamina, and perform repetitive massage techniques safely.
• Ability to lift and position equipment when required.

Pay and Work Location

• Pay is up to AED 5,000 per month.
• Work location is in person.
