Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Prepare and layout construction sites, including measuring, leveling, and marking surfaces.
- Mix, pour, and spread mortar or concrete according to specifications.
- Lay bricks, stones, concrete blocks, or other materials accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of walls, floors, or other structures.
- Repair and maintain existing masonry structures as required.
- Cut, shape, and polish masonry materials using hand tools or power tools.
- Follow safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents on site.
- Collaborate with other construction workers, supervisors, and engineers to complete projects on time.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mason or skilled Mason
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools
- Leadership or team supervision experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
- Commitment to workplace safety and company standard
