About the Role
Mattamy Homes seeks a Marketing Specialist for a maternity leave contract in Ottawa. You will create and implement marketing and communication activities to sell homes and enhance the Mattamy brand.

- Partner with management to establish effective advertising, communications and public relations programs
- Execute and implement all marketing elements of the strategic plan and support sales with required material
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to ensure company strategies and goals are reached
- Liaise with corporate agency on production of collateral material for new and ongoing projects
- Plan scheduled marketing activities for sales openings/releases
- Coordinate and manage multiple company events including product launch events
- Work alongside management to complete all aspects of community presentation
- Perform general office administration duties such as processing invoices and ordering supplies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
- 1+ years brand marketing experience
- 2 years direct customer sales experience
- 1+ years budget management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Role Overview
- Marketing Specialist responsible for creating and implementing marketing and communication activities related to selling homes.
- Manages projects related to advertising, community presentation, public relations, community events and corporate sponsorships.
What you'll do
- Partner with management to establish effective advertising, communications & public relations programs.

- Perform general office administration duties such as processing invoices, HST rebate paperwork and ordering sales office supplies.
What you bring
- Bachelor of Arts, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent education.
- 1+ years brand marketing experience with 2 years direct customer sales experience.
- 1+ years of budget management experience.
- Analytical, organized and experienced at managing many moving targets.
- Results oriented – organized individual capable of setting realistic and attainable deadlines.
- Excellent judgement and strategic thinking.
- Proactive and strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe programs.
Compensation
- Expected base salary range: CAD 57,500 CAD 87,500 per year.
