Role Description

  • This part time Marketing Specialist role is hybrid, based in Dubai with flexibility for some work from home arrangements.
  • The Marketing Specialist will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that promote The UAE Times’ content, services, and brand.
  • Day to day responsibilities include conducting market research, assisting with marketing strategy development, coordinating sales and promotional activities, and supporting customer engagement initiatives.
  • The role involves drafting marketing copy for digital channels, monitoring campaign performance, and collaborating with editorial and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • The Marketing Specialist will also help manage audience feedback, contribute ideas to grow readership, and maintain accurate marketing documentation and reports.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to adapt messages to different audiences.
  • Ability to conduct Market Research, analyze audience behavior, and interpret trends to inform marketing decisions.
  • Experience with Sales support activities, such as coordinating promotions, assisting with partnership outreach, or responding to advertiser inquiries.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Strategy, including campaign planning, basic performance metrics, and content promotion best practices.
  • Proficient Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and maintaining positive audience and client relationships.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, X, LinkedIn, email marketing tools) is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a part time hybrid environment.
  • Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience in media, publishing, or online content platforms in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
