Role Description
- This is a part time Frontend Developer role based in Dubai, offered on a hybrid basis with a mix of on site and work from home days.
- The Frontend Developer will implement user facing features, build and maintain responsive web pages, and ensure a smooth, accessible experience across devices and browsers.
- Daily tasks include translating design mockups into clean, efficient code, optimizing performance, and collaborating with editors, designers, and backend developers to integrate content and functionality.
- The role also involves troubleshooting interface issues, refining UI components, and contributing to continuous improvements of The UAE Times’ digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Front End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
- Candidates should possess Web Development and Software Development skills to support robust, maintainable codebases.
- Candidates should possess Responsive Web Design skills to ensure optimal user experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Candidates should possess foundational Back End Web Development skills to collaborate effectively on API integration and data handling.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
