Role overview
The Marketing Project Manager oversees the day-to-day operational flow of the Marketing and Communications department.
The role connects Brand Managers, Shared Services teams, external agencies, and business stakeholders while managing visibility, priorities, resources, and delivery.
The role directly manages the Marketing Specialist within the portfolio.
Workflow and traffic management
- Own the end-to-end marketing workflow across all brands and departments.
- Review and validate incoming marketing requests to ensure briefs are complete before work begins.
- Prioritize projects based on business objectives and agreed timelines.
- Allocate work across internal teams and external agencies according to capacity, expertise, and deadlines.
- Maintain visibility of active projects and their current status.
Resource and capacity management
- Develop resource plans covering designers, copywriters, videographers, digital specialists, communications, and external agencies.
- Monitor workloads to balance resource allocation and prevent bottlenecks.
- Identify resource constraints and recommend solutions before delivery risks arise.
