Job Summary
- The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and related events.
- The role focuses on driving visitor attendance, exhibitor acquisition, sponsorship opportunities, brand awareness, and revenue growth through integrated marketing campaigns and market analysis.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for exhibitions and events.
- Establish annual marketing plans, budgets, and performance objectives.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and industry opportunities.
- Position exhibitions effectively to maximize attendance and exhibitor participation.
Key Responsibilities Event Marketing
- Plan and execute multi channel marketing campaigns to attract exhibitors, visitors, sponsors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities Brand Management
- Strengthen and maintain the company’s brand identity and reputation.
- Ensure consistency of marketing materials, communications, and event branding.
- Develop innovative promotional campaigns to increase market visibility.
Key Responsibilities Sponsorship & Partnerships
- Collaborate with sales teams to support sponsorship acquisition and exhibitor sales.
- Build strategic partnerships with industry associations, media partners, government entities, and stakeholders.
- Develop co marketing initiatives to expand audience reach.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team.
- Set performance targets and conduct regular evaluations.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, design, and event management teams to ensure successful event delivery.
Key Responsibilities Budget Management
- Prepare and manage marketing budgets.
- Monitor marketing expenditures and ensure cost effective utilization of resources.
- Evaluate ROI of all marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including visitor registrations, exhibitor leads, sponsorship revenue, digital engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
- Recommend improvements based on data driven insights.
Experience
- 8–12+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the exhibition, events, trade show, conference, or B2B events industry.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
