Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate key compliance risks in the ME region, aligning them with IBM's business strategy
- Develop, implement and monitor mitigation plans to manage key identified risks
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations and policies in the ME region
- Actively engage with senior ME business leaders as a strategic advisor
- Collaborate with other MSAs, global RCI function and key support functions
- Educate employees and advise stakeholders on compliance matters
- Support the investigations team from allegation to resolution
- Drive the evolution and improvement of IBM's compliance programs
Requirements
- Familiarity with regulatory regimes crucial to IBM's operations in the ME region
- Prior experience in the IT and technology sector in a legal or compliance role
- Proven ability to establish relationships with senior business leadership while maintaining independence
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously on matters
- Experience in implementing and using technology to enhance compliance program efficiency
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Excellent fluency in written and spoken Arabic
- Strong commitment to integrity and ethical conduct
- Bachelor's Degree
