• Quote new/existing parts, setting up correct data on Inventory Part, Purchase Part, and Supplier for Purchase Part in ERP system
• Negotiate with suppliers for same category machined parts depending on sizes and tooling requirements
• Analyze the parts depending on annual usages for negotiating purposes
• Create contracts with suppliers
• Prevent cost increases
• Measure suppliers’ capacity and load balancing
• Track and manage OTD, Quality and SCARs with suppliers
• Identifies, researches, and negotiates cost and lead time reductions both individually on their own initiative and as part of a project team.
• Tracks, manages and processes back charges for return to supplier and supplier rework processing of rejected components.
• Other tasks, duties and projects as may be assigned from time to time.
• Completing cost related PR Requests.

• 2+ years CNC manufacturing experience in a MRP environment
• Must be able to effectively negotiate price, delivery, and terms to meet quality requirements and production schedule timelines.
• Raw material and machined parts manufacturing knowledge through distribution channels.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, engineering specifications and bills of material preferred.
• Must have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP system experience. IFS experience a plus.
•Must succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
ISM or APICS Certifications preferred.
Travel requirement: 35%
