Manufacturing Engineering Integration Team Leader

The Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Manufacturing Engineering team supports both the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) and UK National FCAS programmes, helping to define the manufacturing approach for a sixth-generation combat aircraft. Working in an international environment alongside Edgewing and colleagues in Japan and Italy, the team contributes to the development of future air platforms while ensuring manufacturing requirements are considered from the earliest stages of product development.

The team collaborates closely with Engineering, Technology and Manufacturing stakeholders across the Air sector to develop credible and effective manufacturing solutions. This role offers a rare opportunity to influence complex programmes during the early phases of the engineering lifecycle, providing exposure to strategic decision -making, programme development and the future of advanced aerospace manufacturing.
