Manufacturing Engineer

• Inside work

• Sitting and standing: The ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, either sitting or standing
• Walking: The ability to move around the office to access files and machinery
• Lifting: The ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 20–25 pounds
• Hand-eye coordination: The ability to use hands and fingers to operate computers, telephones, and other office equipment
• Vision: The ability to see clearly at close range, such as when working with small objects or reading small print, as well as the ability to adjust focus
• Hearing: The ability to understand and distinguish speech and other sounds, such as machinery alarms

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other engineering disciplines considered
• At least five (5) years of experience in a machinery manufacturing environment
• Green Belt Lean/Six Sigma certification or 3 years working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles and tools required
