Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the development and improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure products are made safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with production, sales and operations teams to solve problems, improve performance, reduce costs and support the successful manufacture of customer products.

• Provide engineering support to production teams to ensure output meets the required quality standards.
• Build strong working relationships with production colleagues to encourage feedback on manufacturing processes.
• Support the resolution of issues that may delay production.
• Maintain a prompt turnaround of orders and work requests through effective day-to-day workload management.
• Improve manufacturing quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Reduce lead times by improving manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop and introduce improved manufacturing methods to enhance cycle times, workflow and margins.
• Achieve PRIMO project targets, including cost and lead-time reductions.
• Work proactively as part of the engineering team and support a culture of continuous improvement.
