Manufacturing Assembly Process Engineer III

Knowledge You Should Bring

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field and 5-7 years of relevant experience ​required.

5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, assembly engineering, industrial engineering, or related disciplines.

At least 2 years of experience leading projects involving multiple stakeholders.

At least 2 years of experience supporting manufacturing launches, process improvements, or capital projects.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, formulas, pivot tables, and dashboard development.

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to create professional presentations, organize complex information, and deliver clear, effective messaging to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

Ability to travel approximately 25%, including visits to manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and project locations as needed.

Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, assembly layouts, and manufacturing documentation.

Experience developing or reviewing manufacturing layouts, tooling concepts, workstation designs, or assembly process flows.

Knowledge of PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and other manufacturing quality tools.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.

Experience supporting truck, automotive, heavy equipment, or high-volume manufacturing operations.

Experience with safety-critical processes, torque-controlled fastening systems, tooling, automation, or controls.

Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.

Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical teams.

Spanish language proficiency (written and verbal) is a plus.

Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, including operations in Mexico and North America.

Self-motivated leader with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Effective at balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution while leading multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Strong communicator and relationship builder who can influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment.
