- Cut, trim, and fold materials with attention to detail, maintaining consistent quality across all finished products
- Collaborate with printing and design teams to understand specific binding requirements and timelines for projects
- Conduct quality checks throughout the binding process to identify and rectify defects before final assembly
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available and properly stored
- Execute custom binding requests, adapting techniques to meet unique client specifications and preferences
- Train and mentor junior binders in manual techniques, fostering a culture of craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and improve binding processes
- Manage inventory of binding supplies, ordering materials as needed to prevent delays in production
