Role overview
The Manager, Workplace Modernization leads Hydro One's people and places strategy within the Real Estate and Facilities Management team.
The role develops workplace programs covering design, accommodations, move management, change enablement, employee experience, standards, and occupancy planning.
The position works with architects, designers, consultants, engineers, project delivery firms, and internal stakeholders to create safe, efficient, sustainable workplace environments.
Facilities and workplace operations
- Manage owned and leased offices, administrative centres, operating facilities, and transformer stations across the province.
- Ensure building systems, air quality, and facility operations comply with building, fire, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Manage workplace support services including mail, printing, courier, executive reception, space planning, furniture, conference rooms, moves, maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Coordinate workplace moves, reconfigurations, renovations, construction projects, and related contracting services.
