- Develop and implement procurement strategies and playbooks for terminal and port services
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies that support regional and global objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing data backed recommendations
- Build and manage long term supplier relationships with a focus on cost efficiency, service excellence, and joint value creation
- Lead competitive supplier selection based on total cost of ownership (TCO), quality, and sustainability
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and structured review processes
- Embed ESG and sustainability principles into supplier evaluation and selection
- Lead tenders, negotiations, and contract management, ensuring compliance with procurement governance
- Deliver measurable cost reduction and service quality improvements
- Use advanced analytics and data driven insights to identify opportunities and optimize sourcing decisions
- Provide accurate forecasts, budgets, and cost reporting to regional and global leadership
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement systems, processes, and reporting transparency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, APICS) are an advantage
- 6 10 years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in shipping, ports, terminals, or logistics
- Demonstrated experience in category management, supplier performance management, and contract negotiations at regional or global level
- Strong knowledge of total cost of ownership (TCO), procurement best practices, and category strategy development
- Proven ability to use analytics, data modelling, and market intelligence tools
- Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba) and advanced Excel/BI tools
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and ability to embed sustainability into sourcing decisions
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in a procurement context

- As Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing procurement strategies across terminal and port services in the Middle East region.
- This role requires strong commercial acumen, data driven decision making, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders to deliver cost efficiencies, supplier innovation, and sustainable sourcing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Market Intelligence: Develop and implement procurement strategies and playbooks for terminal and port services, leveraging supplier market intelligence and scenario planning.
- Supplier Management & Performance: Build and manage long term supplier relationships with a focus on cost efficiency, service excellence, and joint value creation.
- Commercial Execution: Lead tenders, negotiations, and contract management, ensuring compliance with procurement governance and alignment with business requirements.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use advanced analytics and data driven insights to identify opportunities, optimize sourcing decisions, and track savings performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred).
