Job Summary
The Technology Deployment Manager reports to the Technical Services Manager and ensures Technical Services contributes to air transportation safety.
The role is accountable for project implementation, quality control compliance, staff training and certification, and human and financial resources.
Leadership and Operations
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees while creating a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team environment.
- Direct work-unit strategies, goals, performance indicators, priorities, work plans, milestones, and resource plans.
- Collaborate with local and national air navigation services technology teams, business units, users, customers, and other stakeholders.
Technology and Projects
- Ensure air navigation services technology equipment and materials are available, reliable, accurate, and properly installed.
- Manage the introduction of systems and enhancements within the Flight Information Region.
- Maintain system-change roadmaps, advance standardization, and manage projects while minimizing disruption to operations.
