Job Summary
Lead a six-person Pune SDR team generating pipeline for OpenGov's US go-to-market team.
Own team performance, coaching, and day-to-day outbound execution for the US public sector market.
Report to a US-based Director of Sales Development and connect Pune execution with US leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coach six SDRs to achieve pipeline and activity targets.
- Track calls, emails, meetings booked, pipeline generated, and other team metrics.
- Translate US go-to-market strategy into daily and weekly execution plans.
- Build onboarding, ramp, and continuing skill development programs.
- Coordinate with US sales leaders and Account Executives on lead quality and handoffs.
- Maintain effective use of Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn and keep reporting accurate.
- Manage US-aligned hours, shift schedules, and coverage planning.
- Report team performance, pipeline health, and improvement areas to US leadership.
- Build an engaged, competitive, and supportive team culture.
Requirements and Preferred Experience
- At least 6 years of sales development or outbound sales experience, including SDR or BDR team management.
