Core Responsibilities
- Interact with business partners and key stakeholders to address operational challenges and scheduled production activities.
- Lead and coordinate the team toward individual and team goals.
- Develop the workforce through regular coaching and performance feedback.
- Plan and execute operations to reduce waste and achieve organizational milestones.
- Escalate delays and issues in a timely manner.
- Provide input for team MIS reports.
Improvement and Projects
- Initiate and participate in quality improvement processes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and lead departmental initiatives.
- Document procedures and create or update checklists.
- Initiate and monitor special projects as needed.
- Anticipate and resolve issues before they affect projects or relationships.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Participate in North American leadership calls when needed.
- Demonstrate commitment, diligence, decisiveness, flexibility, and role-model leadership.
- Communicate effectively at all levels and deliver presentations.
