Manager, Mine Technical Services (44079)

• Lead the Technical Services function and provide strategic direction across all underground technical disciplines.
• Develop and execute operational and business plans aligned to site and corporate objectives.
• Drive short, medium and long-range mine planning processes.
• Partner with operational leaders to optimise mine performance, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and 12-week planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, corporate and operational health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Identify and manage technical, operational and business risks through effective governance and risk mitigation strategies.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of innovative mining technologies and methodologies.
• Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Build a high-performing and inclusive team culture focused on accountability, collaboration and development.

You are a proven technical mining leader with extensive underground mining experience and a track record of delivering operational excellence through strong planning, technical capability and stakeholder engagement.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in underground hard rock mining operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary Technical Services teams.
• Strong understanding of mine planning, geology, geotechnical and ventilation functions.
• Experience managing operational budgets, forecasts and business planning processes.
• Well-developed risk management and operational governance capability.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

• First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency.
• Experience in large-scale underground gold mining operations.
• Exposure to modern mining technologies and mine optimisation initiatives.

This role is offered on a 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster serviced from Perth, Brisbane, Darwin and Alice Springs.
