Qualification and Knowledge
- Minimum qualification is B.Tech or B.E.
- Knowledge of fire protection is required.
- Knowledge of international standards and codes including NFPA, API, IEC, IP, BSI, and ISO procedures is required.
- Understanding of HSE software tools including Phast, Phast Risk, PHA, Flare sim, SoundPLAN, and PIPENET is required.
Professional Experience
- Lead analytical problem solving, decision making, team leadership, and project communication.
- Support and guide multiple project groups on safety management issues.
- Plan and control engineering activities and develop time schedules.
- Work with project, customer, and vendor representatives to resolve technical issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Finalize HSE study requirements and implement recommendations in detailed design.
- Organize and participate in project safety reviews including HAZID, HAZOP, Bow-Tie, HFE, ALARP, and SIL.
- Design fire protection systems, including hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, datasheets, and fire suppression systems.
