About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical/non technical assurance/consulting engagements from planning to reporting phase
- Perform internal audit or advisory engagements covering Renewable Energy Portfolio Management
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial and operational data
- Prepare/review the risk and control matrix (RCM) prior to audit fieldwork
- Manage and execute audit engagements as per the engagement plan
- Review work performed by field auditors and ensure work papers are complete
- Manage client relationships and ensure achievement of audit satisfaction survey targets
- Ensure compliance with Continuous Monitoring requirements within Masdar QAIP manual
- Perform periodic self assessments to validate conformance with IPPF Standards and Code of Ethics
- Develop tools for implementation of the QAIP across all engagements
- Perform quality assurance reviews of audit reports and engagement files
- Arrange external third parties for mandatory quality assurance reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field
- Certification as CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CRIC is an asset
- At least 8 years' experience in progressively senior roles in auditing of IT or OT, business analysis, or program evaluation
- Experience relating to internal audit of corporate and business unit processes
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage cross functional teams
- Good knowledge of internal auditing and accounting principles and practices
- Good knowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics

Key Accountabilities
- Lead and manage technical/non technical assurance/consulting engagements from planning phase to reporting phase.
- Liaise with Quality Reviewer to ensure all deliverables are quality reviewed before submission.
- Perform internal audit or advisory engagements covering Renewable Energy Portfolio Management.
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial and operational data.
- Support in developing and delivering the annual operational business plans and KPIs for the unit.
- Prepare/review the risk and control matrix (RCM) prior to audit fieldwork.
- Manage and execute audit engagements as per the engagement plan.
- Review work performed by field auditors and issues received.
- Review audit issues/draft audit report and submit to senior management.
- Manage client relationships and ensure achievement of audit satisfaction survey targets.
- Develop and implement action plans on areas of improvement identified by client.
- Upload/supervise work papers in internal audit database/software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, management information systems, or related degree.
- Certification as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CRIC is an asset.
Preferred Experience
- At least 8 years' experience in progressively senior roles in auditing of IT or OT, business analysis, or program evaluation.
- Experience relating to internal audit of corporate and business unit processes.
