Main Objective
Manage and optimize flydubai’s freighter operations through network schedules, capacity plans, and utilization strategies.
Ensure freighter aircraft are deployed effectively in line with commercial demand, operational capability, and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop short-, medium-, and long-term freighter network plans covering aircraft deployment, rotations, and block-hour utilization.
- Coordinate with Flight Operations, Engineering, and Ground Handling to ensure schedules are operationally viable and compliant.
- Conduct capacity and yield analyses and monitor aircraft performance, utilization, cost efficiency, profitability, and load factors.
- Lead freighter entry-into-service planning, including route proving, crew familiarization, and post-launch operational review.
- Evaluate ad hoc and charter opportunities for operational feasibility and financial impact.
- Work with Cargo Pricing and Revenue Optimization to support yield, load factor, and market targets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Freighter Planning team.
- Prepare reports on freighter performance, cost analysis, route profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards for freighter scheduling and cargo capacity planning.
- Drive continuous improvement focused on efficiency, reliability, and resource optimization.
