- Partner with business areas to cascade financial priorities and drive implementation
- Support business areas in understanding financial impact of options and communicate to stakeholders
- Prepare and validate business cases, review financial evaluation of supplier bids
- Prepare monthly reports on actuals vs. budget and forecast, understand and explain variations
- Own deep dives into relevant costs and challenge for improvement
- Prepare and manage annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for supported business areas
- Identify profit improvement initiatives and estimate their impact
- Continuously improve processes and tools for analysis, reporting, and forecasting

- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ability to partner with business areas and challenge financial performance
- Experience with business case validation and financial evaluation
- Proficiency in process and tool improvement

Role Purpose
- Responsible for providing the Head of Finance, the VP Financial Planning and Strategy, and relevant business area stakeholders with high quality financial analyses, reporting and insight to drive informed decision making.
- Partner with and challenge supported business areas, analyse financial performance, financial planning, and drive revision of processes and tools.
- This role is part of the Financial Planning and Strategy team, reporting to the Head of Finance.
Accountabilities
- Strategic finance partnering with business areas: partner with stakeholders in cascading financial priorities, planning actions and driving implementation.
- Supporting and challenging business areas: support portfolio business areas in understanding financial impact of options, review business cases, guide on structuring, and answer day to day queries.
- Monthly reporting and analyses of financial performance: ensure actuals vs. expectations are understood, prepare reports, own presentation on monthly financial performance review, track profit improvement initiatives, and provide KPIs.
- Budgeting and forecasting: prepare and manage annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, identify profit improvement initiatives, and update forecasts regularly.
- Own process and tools revision: continuously improve processes and tools, automate tasks, and drive implementation of new tools.
