Midana Exploration Company is a resource exploration and development company and a subsidiary of Hancock Prospecting.
The company is developing exploration targets and mining assets in Saudi Arabia’s Arabian-Nubian Shield.
MEC works with local partners and contributes to the development of Saudi Arabia’s resource sector.
Mining rights and tenement management
- Lead the acquisition, maintenance, and protection of exploration and mining rights.
- Oversee the tenement portfolio, licence obligations, renewals, reporting, and government submissions.
- Partner with Exploration and Business Development to secure new mineral rights and growth opportunities.
External affairs and government relations
- Manage relationships with Saudi government ministries, regulators, regional authorities, and key stakeholders.
- Represent the Company in government, industry, and stakeholder engagements.
- Protect the Company’s reputation and social licence to operate through stakeholder engagement.
Permitting and land access
- Lead land access, permitting, approvals, and stakeholder agreements for exploration and future project development.
- Coordinate regulatory submissions and approvals and maintain visibility of obligations and dependencies.
