- Manage corporate strategic planning initiatives by providing analytical insights and facilitating cross functional collaboration.
- Collaborate on drafting, refining, and reviewing SOPC’s strategic objectives and plans.
- Develop strategic planning initiatives for departments to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Execute regular alignment reviews with IOC guidelines, maintaining congruence with Olympic Movement standards.
- Oversee the alignment of SOPC’s brand with Olympic values.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives.
- Proactively identify and assess potential risks and collaborate with Strategy Director on mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between departments for strategic planning communication.
- Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for leadership.
Requirements
- Experience in corporate strategic planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent cross functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to develop reports and presentations for senior management.
- Knowledge of risk management practices.
- Familiarity with Olympic Movement standards and IOC guidelines is a plus.

Job Purpose
- Manage corporate strategic planning initiatives by providing analytical insights, facilitating cross functional collaboration, and ensuring effective communication and execution of strategic plans across departments to ensure alignment with SOPC’s strategic objectives and vision.
Strategic Planning and Alignment
- Collaborate on drafting, refining, and reviewing SOPC’s strategic objectives and plans.
- Develop strategic planning initiatives for SOPC departments/sections to ensure alignment with SOPC’s strategic objectives.
- Execute regular alignment reviews with IOC guidelines, maintaining congruence with Olympic Movement standards and supporting IOC driven goals like sustainability, diversity, and inclusivity.
- Oversee the alignment of SOPC’s brand with Olympic values, ensuring consistency in communications and stakeholder interactions.
- Track and analyze the impact of brand alignment efforts, assessing SOPC’s adherence to Olympic values using KPIs.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in corporate planning.
Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that may influence SOPC’s strategic direction.
- Manage and analyze the scope, timeline, and KPIs of strategic planning initiatives, providing insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing adjustments.
Risk Management
- Proactively identify and assess potential risks that may impact SOPC’s strategic objectives and overall performance.
- Collaborate closely with the Strategy Director to review identified risks and propose tailored, actionable mitigation strategies.
Cross functional Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather insights and input for strategic decision making.
- Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure strategic planning initiatives are communicated and understood across SOPC.
Reporting and Presentations
- Develop comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize strategic planning progress, challenges, and opportunities for SOPC’s leadership.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
