Job Description

  • To support the Manager Enrolments & Marketing (EMM) to achieve enrolment targets and collaborate with in house teams and other GEMS entities.
  • The GEMS Sales Representative will ensure high service standards and brand awareness in all aspects of customer relations.
  • Responsible for development of sales opportunities and client relations for assigned schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and build a lead generation plan and business opportunities to meet or exceed monthly enrolments targets.
  • Seek out and target new customers and sales opportunities to secure new enrolments.
  • Build and promote long lasting customer relationships by collaborating with them and understanding their needs.
  • Develop the pipeline for new business coming into the community to ensure enrolment GEMS Schools.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects including relocation agents, HR, Real Estate & Developers, Government, Corporate clients, Embassy and Business Councils.
  • Organise and implement all levels of prospecting including proposal development and presentation, contract agreement and customer relations.
  • Present sales reports to monitor performance of sales strategy.
  • Work with schools to monitor, respond and engage positively amongst all social media communities and audiences to generate lead and enrolments.
  • Ensure GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed.
  • Initiate effort and energy beyond typical workday when tasks require additional commitment.
  • Perform other duties as requested by direct & dotted reporting line managers / supervisors.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills especially persuasion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people, build relationships and network.
  • Comfortable on the phone to succeed in cold calling customers.
  • Understanding of sales process, preferably with customer service experience.
  • Strong experience of digital marketing and social media.
  • Critical thinker and problem solver.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Open and collaborative working style.
  • Highly energetic and team player.
  • Able to multitask with shifting priorities.
  • Knowledge of the education sector is desirable.
  • CRM and system proficient.

Expected Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred.

Expected Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years working in a similar role and successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
