About the Role
Lead relationships with business divisions from an IT delivery and outcome perspective.
Manage an operationally critical IT work program and a portfolio of programs, projects, and ongoing service provisions for an assigned line of business.
Coordinate schedules, delivery and resource dependencies, and risk management to support efficient, timely, and cost-effective program delivery.
Your Duties Would Include
- Draft and agree the technology strategy for the assigned line of business and derive the related work program.
- Manage outsourced and hosted IT services and ensure service providers meet agreed service levels.
- Ensure the 3–5-year IT strategy is delivered for functionality, technology, cost, and future application strategy.
- Define program objectives and success measures to support measurement and reprioritization.
- Review IT service delivery with assigned departments using structured qualitative and quantitative assessments.
- Ensure projects and systems comply with IT governance frameworks, standards, procedures, deliverables, and reporting.
- Own cost inputs for business cases and CMCs and support delivery within agreed cost and timescales.
- Agree and maintain the IT work program with business units, including priorities and project initiation timing.
- Establish program governance through steering committees and working groups.
