Role Overview
Senior technical and business consulting role supporting a Health Information Exchange project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The consultant will advise on NPHIES initiatives, healthcare interoperability, payer-provider systems, financial health services, and digital transformation.
The role combines business acumen with technical expertise in requirements validation, architecture, data structures, and operational alignment.
Contract Details
- Four-month fixed-term contract with possible extension through the end of 2027.
- The role is onsite in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Required Qualifications
- Requires 8–10 years of total experience, including at least five years in HealthTech.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.
- Requires experience with healthcare IT systems, HIE, HIS, payer-provider platforms, and interoperability frameworks.
- Requires strong knowledge of FHIR, HL7, SQL, software development, solution architecture, and system integration.
- Requires knowledge of Revenue Cycle and Payors.
- Requires experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, project management, and delivery oversight.
- Fluent English and mandatory Arabic are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on FHIR, HL7, healthcare interoperability, and NPHIES integration.
- Assess client needs, conduct gap analyses, and recommend interoperability, data exchange, and financial workflow solutions.
- Design and review FHIR-based architectures and integration strategies for healthcare platforms.
- Optimize healthcare operations and support automation of financial health services.
- Recommend secure tools, cloud solutions, APIs, and microservices architectures.
- Collaborate with technical, business, QA, and delivery teams on reviews, testing, validation, and releases.
- Serve as an NPHIES subject matter expert and support training, workshops, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
