- Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Build and strengthen internal and external relationships
- Identify and escalate risks
- Foster a positive learning culture and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Seven years of professional experience in external audit
- Strong academic record and professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CA
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
- Experience of risk based audit process
- Coaching, mentoring and counselling experience
- Experience in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region
- Proficiency in Arabic Language

The opportunity
- EY is looking for a Manager to join its Audit team at KSA office to lead on complex audit engagements and support business growth.
- You will build and strengthen internal and external relationships while ensuring high quality work is delivered to clients.
- You will identify and escalate risks, foster a positive learning culture, and mentor junior team members.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of audit engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the Senior Managers, Associate Partners or Partners and executing it in compliance with Ernst & Young's policies and protocols.
- Personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements, depending on the size of the engagement.
- Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders.
- Participate in business development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Seven years of professional experience in external audit
- Strong academic record and professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CA
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
- Experience of risk based audit process
- Coaching, mentoring and counselling experience
- Experience in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region
- Proficiency in Arabic Language
